Since 1934, we have been making hoses and technical hose products in all elastomer qualities and for all industrial fields, with internal diameters of 13 to 2000 mm and in lengths of up to 40 m. Concentrating on manufacturing only mandrel-manufactured, wrapped hoses and technical hose accessories in mechanical moulds and presses brings the following benefits: Wide variety of options in terms of quality, wall thickness, pressure and vacuum stage, and other product features, customer-specific versions, fast response times for changing products. We have also developed the following strengths: A high degree of product variability by focussing on one-off or series production, individual developments with high levels of innovation, speed and flexibility in developing new products, meeting the highest quality demands, German and international quality assurance systems, short delivery times.

Dieter and Silvi Hemstedt founded their own company with the aim of manufacturing high-quality, specialised heating elements. It was a worthwhile endeavour: A few years later, a total of 20 employees were already working for the company, and sales and space requirements rapidly increased. The product range grew just as fast. Refrigeration technology came along and more and more customers demanded specialised solutions that Hemstedt could implement quickly and precisely. It was this flexibility and high quality that rapidly raised Hemstedt's profile all around the world. More and more frequently, deliveries from the Swabian production site travelled to China, the USA, Russia and many other countries. Today, more than 60 people work in development and manufacturing across a production space of 17, 500 square metres. Therefore, the company today particularly champions the development and manufacturing of energy-efficient heating systems and holistic concepts. These play a significant role in creating production facilities that are not simply climate-neutral, but actually make a positive overall contribution to the environment.

The company was founded in 1950 by Friedrich Würth with the corporate objective of producing and repairing heating elements for household devices, industrial applications as well as medical and laboratory technology. His successors have remained true to the original company objectives to this day. Today, his grandson Steffen Wolf runs the company in the tradition of its founder’s philosophy. You can benefit from the advantages of our location. The company headquarters of Friedrich Würth Produktions GmbH are located in Empfingen. The production site of Würth products is in the Czech Republic. The WoTech company belongs to the Würth company group.
