Laj’s legacy dates back to 2010 when it started manufacturing paper bags in its home garage. Back then they only had one paper bag printing machine. The company initially focused on production of paper bags in small amounts in order to appeal to small and medium-sized businesses in need of customised and affordable paper bags. After years of hard work, the firm has managed to gain traction on numerous foreign markets. As a result, it purchased new business premises in the heart of Maribor city which nowadays represent a core of its production process. These day we have a capacity to manufacture up to 25, 000 bags a day, mostly by using inputs with relatively low environmental impacts such as recycled paper. Our core markets include Germany, France, Belgium and Denmark but we also derive a substantial portion of our revenue from the local market. Ever since our inception ten years ago, we endeavour to make the world a better place through reducing our reliance on plastic bags and related products and consequently contributing to a cleaner and pollution-free environment.
