Tekstina’s legacy dates back to 1828. Through our history we went from a yarn retailer to become one of the leading manufacturers of printed fabric. The Slovenian textile industry has recently undergone a severe stress, resulting in collapse of numerous domestic textile companies. Tekstina was one of the few companies that were able to survive the turmoil. In order to improve the stability of its business, Tekstina has completely adapted to the new marketplace which requires companies to devote large amounts of funds to capital expenditures and posses their own design departments. As a result of this transformation, Tekstina nowadays sports a value added per employee of over 80, 000 EUR which represents a remarkable achievement for this industry. Tekstina primarily manufactures fabrics for shirts and working suits. In the future, the company aims to further increase innovation as its long-term plan is to transform from manufacturer of fabrics to provider of various services using innovative materials. The company has two divisions. Tekstina Fashion provides it customers with unique and innovative products which are developed in accordance with the latest fashion trends. Tekstina Tech meanwhile provides novel marketing solutions to the rest of the company through cooperation with accredited laboratories and suppliers. Those activities are set to continue within the IRSPIN group and are aimed at improving business efficacy in the future.

The waste generated during the production process is properly disposed of without adverse impact on the environment. We are proud to have the ISO 9001 quality certificate. Also testifying on our behalf are the references from our clients from around the world, which exports comprise 95 % of our production.
